I can’t live so close the city and not post about John Lennon’s birthday. One of Liverpool’s greatest talents was born eighty years ago today. Tragically he was also taken from us 40 years ago and it was only since his death that the city started to erect statues and plaques. The day he was killed there wasn’t one memorial to John or the Beatles in the City. We had to leave flowers next to a car park that had buried the original Cavern Club. The city had yet to awaken to the commercial benefits of the fab four. But boy have they seen the light ! Or rather the cash it brings in !
I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years. My work has taken me all over the world, now in retirement, i am shooting for myself and sharing my work with you all. I suffer from health anxiety and find that my photography is a great source of healing. Some of my posts may veer off the path slightly but basically this is my life journey using photography to tell the story. Thank you for reading and if you would like to follow me you would be most welcome.
