I have been using Affinity and DxO PhotoLab software recently to obtain some great HDR effects in otherwise mundane pictures. I know its not to everyones taste but i rather like the grungy effect and the textural detail it brings out.

The world’s first Iron Bridge
We had a lovely day trip yesterday, in rare hot sunny weather, to the Shropshire town of Ironbridge. Named after the world's first cast iron bridge the spans the River Severn, the area is famously known as the birth of the Industrial Revolution in the late 1700's.
